da vari anni la SIES A.Spinelli
partecipa con una delegazione di suoi studenti
alle sezioni del EEYP
e ultimamente del EEY

This year's session of the
'Erasmian European Youth Parliament' (EEYP)
will be held at the
"Schweizerische Alpine Mittelschule" in Davos
from February 21/27
a 'first' for Switzerland!
Davos has been known as a pioneering mountain health resort for more than 140 years, so obviously...
'Health' is the general topic for EEYP Davos 2015.
Health is a matter of life and death, which affects individuals and society alike, thus becoming a basic concern of the body politic.
Delegations of eight european countries partecipate to the EEYP-2015:
Swiss delegation from Davos, Belgian from Bruxelles, Czech from Prague, Dutch from Rotterdam, German form Hamburg, Irish form Cork, Italian from Turin and Spanish from Girona
The students are divided in 6 commitees, made of members of each national delegation that work on specific topics.
Committee topics reflect the ideas that health ...
-
is indivisible: there is only one health in our entire ecosystem ('One Health')
-
is a limited and contested good ('Health Economics and Innovation')
-
is a human right ('The Right to Health').
In a broader sense, 'health' can be defined as a measure of success.
Our topics here cover a wide range:
-
'Healthy', i.e. successful, urban development ('Environmental Justice and Planning in Urban Development')
-
'Healthy Banking'
-
'Healthy' use of resources by corporations ('Ecopreneurship: Sustainable Resource Management').
How can 'health' be incorporated here - or, more basically: what constitutes 'health'/success in these fields?
This is open to widely divergent interpretations, which also have an impact on policies adopted by governing bodies and other stakeholders.
